SOAR would like to give special thanks to the companies, organizations and individuals who have given freely to the mission of SOAR and made a difference in America! We salute you all!

Our gratitude to the York Builders Association for their $500 donation in 2010 to support shipping costs to the troops.

Memorial Hospital deserves our gratitude for their support of SOAR in 2008.

Johnson Controls, Inc. donated $500 to support our troops in 2008.

Lancaster County Wood Carvers is sponsoring SOAR with a raffle of two beautiful hand carved Arks in March 2008. They also sponsored SOAR in 2009 with a beautiful handcrafted Chipwood Table.  In 2010, raffle prize is handcarved Civil war Chess Set. In addition, SOAR benefits from their 50/50 colections at quarterly meeting.  Our troops thank them. We thank them.

Rutters Farm Stores has sponsored our Valentine's Day event for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and now 2010 to send care packages to our deployed military all over the world.  We thank them for their kind assistance for our deployed loved ones.

Dentsply International for the Employee Gift Award of $2000.00 to SOAR in support of our troops.

Kansas City Chiefs Fan Club donated $800.00 towards the purchase of phone cards for our troops.

York Sertoma Club for donation of $1000.00 from their Santa Helpers club that was used to help assist veteran's families in need.

Harley Owners Group for their monetary donations from their Poker Runs and also items collections.

Market At Shrewsbury for sponsoring the Memorial Day Events for several years. And a special thanks to Alicia Herbst, Manager of Markets At Shrewsbury, for her continued support of SOAR throughout the years by collecting cards and allowing SOAR to set-up at special events held at the Markets

Luther Memorial Church for their continued support throughout the years with items collections and monetary support

PA House of Representatives and the Senate Republican Caucus SOAR wishes to thank all the employees and Representatives from Pennsylvania for a terrific display of loyalty and love for the troops serving in Iraq and for all of America! We cannot thank you enough.

SOS Support Our Soldiers Thank you to all the members of SOS for your help in our care package campaign. SOS not only helped collect items and money for shipping but also helped pack over 250 boxes for our heroes. May you all be blessed for your support!
York Ice Arena, York Recreation Corp and All the great hockey players from York, PA gave their all in a 24 hour hockey marathon to benefit charities and SOAR was chosen. Weis Market on East Market Street helped by donating a gift certificate for items needed May 11th. What a nice group of people!

Shiloh Nurseries donated flowers for a gift basket that was made for Commander Ramsey and his family. The red, white, and blue flowers showed their patriotism and support of America!

Stauffer's Biscuit Company, Inc. has been generous by providing cookies for our soldiers in the 101st Airborn, USS JF Kennedy, MP's in Kandahar, and the USS T. Roosevelt. Stauffers also contributed to the special event with Commander R. Ramsey, sponsered by SOAR on May 11th.
Naylor Wine Cellars donated a bottle of their wine to be given to Commander Ramsey and his wife. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Wolfgang Candy added a box of their delicious chocolate to a gift basket made for Commander Ramsey and family. Thank very much!

Glatfelter Insurance Group continues to be a very patriotic boost for our troops both home and abroad. They have helped with our "Holiday Card Collection" for two years. How blessed our troops are to have the support from a company that truly cares!

Browns Orchard helped SOAR with our Holiday Card Collection by collecting cards, donating shipping costs and setting up a table for patriots to sign cards. What a great and caring company!
 
Jack Gaughen Realtor, ERA has been an ongoing contributor to SOAR. Last fall they helped with a holiday card drive for our military and paid shipping to send out more then 15,000 cards. They continue to help our mission with ongoing financial support and help with our current essay contest in Pennsylvania. This company is filled with true patriots!

Raydex Marketing & Communications of Camp Hill PA is providing us with the entire phone card platform. Their donations greatly help SOAR send phone cards to our troops and give them the benefit of talking to their loved ones free of charge.

Wal-Mart stores have donated over 1300 greeting cards to SOAR to send to our troops. They are also involved in prizes being awarded for our essay contest for children. See the essay contest page for more details.

Congressman Todd Platts joined SOAR May 11, 2002 and shared his experiences about his trip to Afghanistan. What a wonderful man he is to take the time to share and help us to better understand what is happening in the war zone. Thank you Congressman!

Martin's Chips once again helped SOAR by donating money and chips for our event May 11th. Martin's is not only a great chip company, it is also full of great people!

Papers Plus donated tableclothes and helped SOAR by giving a lower price on the beautiful balloons used to decorate May 11th. We thank you Papers Plus for supporting Commander Ramsey and all our troops.

Waypoint Bank donated money towards the May 11th event. Waypoint has always shown a desire to help those who serve this great nation. Way to go Waypoint!

Matthews Hallmark in York, PA donated Christmas cards, has placed a box for collection of cards (to be shipped to our troops) in their store, and donated a flag to be sent to the war zone to be flown and returned as a grand prize in the SOAR Essay Contest.

Herr's Snack Food has contributed to SOAR by a donation to help keep us SOARing.

Giant Food Stores have donated towards the Essay Contest. They believe in promoting patriotism and serving those who protect our freedoms!
 
Vietnam Veterans Of American Chapter 542 of Harrisburg have been generous in their donations to SOAR. Their motto is: "Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another" and have given SOAR full support.

The Mail Room in the Camp Hill shopping mall donated funds to Soar for our phone card program. We appreciate the patriotism and spirit of these kind and generous people. 717-975-9991


Local Rep Anne Crumbling donated an entertainment book as a prize for the Essay contest. Anne also helped in our sending cards campaign to military personnel in Afghanistan and other locations abroad.

Martins Potato Chip Inc. has helped SOAR by donating potato chips to our troops, donating Christmas cards and they also edited and dubbed videotape for President Bush and our military.

Sisters In Caring, ST Johns Episcopal Church Thank you for the items donated for our troops. It makes a difference to the troops everytime someone does such an act of kindness.

Long Riders Magazine has been incredible to the troops overseas, those still home, our veterans, and SOAR! They have helped the troops by sending candy and magazines to the war zone including the USS Kennedy. They have helped in promoting SOAR by donating advertisments in their popular magazine.
